TradeOps · Stock and inventory for trades

Stock as a ledger.

Materials come off as they are used on a job, deliveries go on, and every movement is kept. When the count looks wrong you read back how it got that way, instead of overwriting a number and hoping.

The screen

What is on it.

The same screen on a laptop, a tablet or a phone, from the same login.

/admin/inventory

  • Every item on your price list with its current quantity

  • The movements behind that quantity: what, when, which job, who

  • Low-stock items, against a level you set per item

  • Deliveries recorded as movements in, with a note

  • Adjustments, with a reason, so a stock take is a record and not an overwrite

How it is used

Three steps, in the order they happen.

01

A delivery arrives

Record it against the item with a note. The quantity goes up and the movement is kept.

02

Materials go on a job

Add them to the job and they come off stock, so the job knows what it used and the stock knows where it went.

03

The count looks wrong

Open the item and read the movements. If the shelf disagrees, record an adjustment with a reason; the history stays.

Done differently

A ledger, not a number somebody edits.

A stock figure that can be typed over has no memory. A ledger of movements gives you the figure and the story behind it, which is the thing you need at the exact moment the figure is wrong.

Straight answers

The questions people ask about it.

One price, one system

This is one part of it. The price covers all of it.

Nothing here is a module you switch on later. The website, the office and every screen on this page come as one system at one price.
